Q: Are the books in English or translated?
A: Almost all the books are in Japanese Hiragana and Catagana with some Kanji, I've only found one book so far with English directions and that's a Domino's Book for Knitting.
Q: Are the directions easy to figure out?
A: Most of the books have step by step directions for a good portion of the books but others just have the patterns, you'll have to look at the book listing itself to see which one is in the book your looking at.
Q: Can you translate the books to English?
A: I'm an American in Japan and I don't speak or read japanese very much but I have friends that can help me translate small stuff. So if you do find something that is just plaquing you and you need help please contact me. I can't promise you that I can do big projects but I will do my best with the small ones. I've worked with a lot of the books for a long time now so I know a lot of the symbols and know a lot of what some of the Kanji and Hiragana already means so if you contact me I might be able to tell you right away for some of the stuff. Please be kind though and don't expect me to do a whole book, just can't be done...:)
